Mayoor's -TheraNest: A New Milestone in Our Commitment to Inclusive Education
On February 6, 2025, we proudly inaugurated our new therapy room, ‘TheraNest’, a dedicated space designed to support students with additional learning needs. This marks a significant step in our ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment—one where every child has access to the right resources and support to thrive.
The inauguration event was a momentous occasion, bringing together esteemed guests, including Mr. Phillip Thompson, the Office Director for Students of Determination at ADEK, along with educators, specialists, and parents. Their presence underscored the collective effort to create a school environment that truly embraces and nurtures every learner.
A Step Towards Greater Accessibility
Creating an inclusive space like TheraNest is not just about infrastructure—it’s about ensuring accessibility, support, and collaboration. This dedicated room will serve as a hub where students can develop essential communication, motor, and sensory skills under the guidance of experienced Specialists. We are proud to partner with KidsFirst Centre and Alfarah Centre, who will provide Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy using specialized equipment tailored to the needs of our students.
One of the key advantages of having therapy services within the school is the convenience for parents, eliminating the need for frequent travel to external centers. More importantly, it allows our Inclusion team to work seamlessly with therapists, ensuring consistent, personalized support for each child. This integrated approach fosters a more cohesive and supportive learning experience, reinforcing our mission to make education accessible to all.
The launch of TheraNest is a proud moment for our school, but it is just one step in our journey towards greater inclusivity. We remain committed to expanding our resources and strengthening our support systems—because every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
Here’s to a future where every student feels valued, empowered, and included!
