Gratitude and Appreciation for the Most Amazing Teamwork
The Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) aspires to nurture a world-class education system in Abu Dhabi. They ensure that every student, regardless of their background and learning needs, are empowered to reach their fullest potential and become a successful global citizen, positively impacting and shaping the world around them.
To celebrate the outstanding people and programs across our education system, ADEK AWARDS 2024 were organized on 7th March 2024 where numerous awards for outstanding accomplishments in key international and standardized assessments, acknowledging the critical role of education and learning, including Best Inclusive Practices in the school were awarded by Her Excellency Sara Musallam.
Mayoor Private School takes pride to share that we received the awards for the Best Inclusive Practices Award 2024, along with the Standardized Benchmark Attainment Award 2024.
The Award for Best Inclusive Practices celebrates outstanding achievements in inclusive practices for Students with Additional Needs through programs that champion inclusivity, equity and diversity. Students with Additional Needs are an integral part of our wonderfully diverse education community.
The entire Inclusion Team of Mayoor Private School would like to take this opportunity to convey our gratitude to Dr. Annahita Pagdiwalla, Principal, for her unwavering belief in the school’s Inclusion team and her willingness to support and advise us at all times. Ms. Yogita Bhagania, Vice Principal, who is a constant source of support and guidance and offers advice when we need it.
Ms. Smita Dhanke, our Tech Coordinator, never hesitates to guide us, be it for social media or on selecting the right assistive devices for our students or on anything related to digital technology.
We recognize and value our Supervisors' constant backing to ensure that all our recommendations are put into effect in their respective phases. Many thanks to Ms. Sheela Nair, OSH officer for ensuring the safety of our students who require additional support while riding the school bus and when in school.
Thanks to the Admission Team, for making the admission process better each day and always sharing with us valuable updates from ADEK.
Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to all our dear teachers, for ensuring that our students whose additional learning needs are met by them in the classroom and to our dear parent community who have trusted us and have made us an important part in their child’s learning journey. The support provided by all the Individual Assistants working with the students to enhance and enrich their skills in the school is indeed commendable.
We would also like to take the opportunity to thank the Specialists from kidsFirst for their selfless guidance to the Inclusion team. Our professional partnership has made a great impact on student’s progress and attainment.
We sincerely appreciate everyone’s hard work and dedication in ensuring that our Students with Additional Learning Needs learn alongside their peers in the classroom.
Congratulations on the fantastic teamwork and collaboration!
